Saul's choice for Giro Dolomiti
Continental Attack/Force Folding
Front and rear tires have different tasks. Steering and braking forces are transmitted on the front, While the rear transmits the driving forces and bears the majority of the cyclist's weight. Subsequently, the two tires in the Continental tire positioning system (TPS) have been designed differently.
The tread compound of the GP Attack (front) is designed for excellent grip, both on dry and wet roads. The GP Attack provides good cornering stability when heading down hot mountain roads in the summer, and holds the road superbly when racing along rainy stretches in the autumn. With a width of 22mm, sharp corners are a breeze and this narrower dimension also keeps air resistance and weight down to a minimum.
On the rear wheel, GP Force guarantees superior power transmission. 23mm wide, consisting of an ultra fine nylon fabric and protected from punctures by a double breaker belt under the tread, it embodies the strength of Continental racing tires.
The GP Force is constructed for high mileage performance. Traction and cornering behaviour remainS stable for thousands of racing kilometres.

GP 4 Season Folding
Modelled on the Grand Prix 3000, the Grand Prix 4Season provides you with even greater puncture resistance thanks to the Duraskin fabric. Light-weight racing tyres are especially susceptible to damage on the sidewall. Because of this, each year many cyclists are forced to abandon events, for instance in the Paris-Roubaix race. The Duraskin fabric reinforces the sidewall without significantly adding to the weight of the tyre. In 2004, cyclists equipped with Duraskin tyres had 80% fewer flats than those riding on other makes.
The compound has also been modified for all-year-round use. You´ll cover more kilometres on the Grand Prix 4Season and won't have to worry about the tire compound hardening and thus the grip performance decreasing.

Conti UltraSport Hometrainer Tire
With a modern indoor trainer and the UltraSport Home Trainer on your bike, winter can set in when it wants to. Thanks to its special cold-running compound, the Home Trainer doesn't experience the heat build up of a road tire, nor does it suffer the tread separation that the road tire is prone to under the special loads occuring when cycling and braking on the roller's revolving drums. Noise levels produced by the tire rolling on the drum of an indoor trainer are also reduced when using this tire in comparison to a road tire. The UltraSport Home Trainer has been designed explicitly for indoor trainers and is not suitable for on-road use.
