This versatile rain shell keeps you dry and on the move on an alpine hike or trek, but is durable, breathable and light enough for climbing and travel off-trail. It has a unique raised pattern on the inside to diffuse and channel moisture away from skin, aid in hassle-free layering, and enhance long-term durability. The tear-resistant, lightweight 2.5-layer 100% nylon fabric also has a waterproof/breathable barrier and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Details include: DWR-coated zippers to eliminate the need for storm flaps; a 2-way front zip; microfleece lining on the neck and chin; waterproof handwarmer pockets with zipper garages; a roll-down, 2-way-adjustable helmet-compatible hood, self-fabric cuff tabs and a drawcord hem. Storm Poncho by Sierra Designs
It wasn't until Beverley tried riding in a Poncho on a rainy day that she discovered how useful they are. Her Tip- "wear the hood under your helmet"
There's nothing easier than pulling on a poncho -- it provides full coverage of you and your pack, but allows air to circulate, making it comfortable in muggy, rainy environments. Snaps along the sides batten down the hatches if it's really pouring and the adjustable hood cinches down tight when you need it. Reinforced grommets at the corners allow you to pitch the Storm Poncho as an emergency shelter.
• Fully Taped PVC-Free Seams
• Adjustable Hood
• 7" Neck Opening with Hook & Loop Closure
• Snaps Along Sides

• Center Back Length 42.5" (L - XL)
