Wide or Narrow
Wider saddles are best for upright riding on straight handle bars
Men or Women
Women's Saddles are not just for women. The slightly wider spaced pelvic support fit larger framed cyclists.

fi"zi:k Spine Concept
Spine Concept realizes that cyclists have varying degrees of flexibility. Human flexibility affects riding behaviour when cycling in a high performance position. Correct behavioral movement permits the cyclist to perform at maximum output with maximum comfort for extended periods of time.
fi"zi:k Flexible Spine - The Snake
Those with more flexibility bend to a greater degree at the lower part of the spine. In this position, the sit bones manage most of the body's weight with little pressure on the genital area.
You use the entire length of the saddle. You flex easily and naturally to accommodate changing positions. Genital compression is not an issue for you as your weight is supported by the sit bones.
fi"zi:k Medium Spine - The Chameleon
The ability to flex your spine may vary with your fitness level. You adjust for comfort interchangeably, sometimes relying on the sit bones or sometimes relying on the genital area to manage the body's weight or when changing hand positions on the tops, hoods and drops.
You are not as restricted to saddle shape. For optimum comfort and performance you flex instinctively to manage the body's weight.
fi"zi:k Ridgid Spine - The Bull
Those with less flexibility are not able to easily accomplish the high performance cycling position. To reach this position the pelvis rotates forward dramatically forcing the hips back. In this position, the rider's weight is directed to the genital area.
You make one major adjustment on the bike by dramatically rotating the pelvis forward and then sit in the pocket of the saddle. Your sit bones interface with the rear part of the saddle increasing pressure on the genitalia. Your genitalia finds relief in the pocket of the saddle. |

The Pave CX Saddle is an ultra flat-saddle with a racing profile and long slender nose. The rear portion of the saddle is deceptively skinny, a moderate 130mm width looks like it's 150mm thanks to the flat shape. Perforated microtex adds an extra bit of padding and compensates for the High Performance shell. HP shells are carbon infused to be stiffer and retain their shape longer. Wing flex sides allow free leg movement and more seating options, which are numerous considering the long 280 mm length. If a flat saddle is your thing, the Fizik Pave CX delivers. This saddle comes with choice of rails, Magnesium or K:ium. K:ium is eight percent lighter than titanium. The K:ium rails have better vibration-absorption qualities and are more corrosion resistance than titanium.

The B67 Aged saddle is classically sprung for supreme comfort. It is an ideal all-round saddle for daily city or touring use in a rather upright posture. Thanks to the softer leather, the B67 Aged is comfortable from day 1. It is most appropriate for cyclists who set their handlebars higher than their saddles. In general, the more upright your riding posture, the wider, and more heavily sprung, the saddle you should choose.
