Merino fibre was created by nature to protect merino sheep in the harsh environment of New Zealand's Southern Alps. If the fibre couldn't with stand extremes of cold and heat, the animal would die. We can't design a better fibre, so we've turned nature's merino into an all-season clothing system for humans.

My search for inexpensive long underwear....
I'm sorry I can't find any. I have looked high and low. It doesn't have the stretch or the durability. So I realized I had to go with good value. I don't want to have to sell you another pair every year unless you loose them. What I picked is Louis Garneau's Drytex 3200 TFP. The zip turtleneck also contains power mesh. The front zipper is 12" long, it has flatlock stitching, a high collar and a thumb hole. The pant on the woman's has a HuggFit waist for better tummy support and even pressure around the waist. The men's has an elastic waistband. They have flatlock stitching.
